A fantastic event hosted by Mona with support from the Hikmat Team, for families to come and learn about recycling, why it‘s important and what we can all do to do our bit. 41 people attended including 36 children from a range of ethnicities. Mona had created a giant fold out city (all made from recycled materials) and the children had to split into teams with one team spotting the environmental disasters and risks and the other team coming up with solutions. The kids were so engaged and involved. They finished the day by making their own booklets from recycled papers.
