In mid-June, the Hikmat staff team came together for the second of two workshops, giving us another chance to share ideas, learn from one another, and explore how we can help bring people together in today’s world.
Over the two sessions, we talked about misconceptions, government changes, the political landscape, and what makes people from culturally diverse communities feel safe and welcome. We also took time to celebrate diversity by highlighting the amazing work and campaigns happening both locally and nationally, while exploring how we can keep building stronger, more connected communities.
The workshops were full of great conversations, shared experiences, and lots of positivity, leaving everyone feeling hopeful, inspired, and excited about what we can achieve together.
